Job Description

Vaco is looking for a Sales Operations Analyst for a great client of ours in the Dunwoody/Perimeter area. This role is designed to work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to provide on-going support as well as manage a portion of the renewal business. The Sales Ops Analyst will generate metrics and analysis to help measure sales performance, help evaluate new technology tools, and enhance management dashboard reporting.

Job Duties:

  • Sales Operations:
    • Monthly sales metrics for Sales and CFO. Ad hoc sales metrics as requested
    • Weekly sales metrics to show progress in forecast achievement as well as renewal rates
    • Manage and complete vendor/supplier forms
    • Renewals - Maintain regular contact with the customers including quoting customers with upcoming renewals. Maintain available renewals spreadsheet to show early, on-time and late renewals for three product lines
    • Assist with upgrade and new sale calculations with/for the Sales team
  • Salesforce Admin:
    • Maintain/improve data integrity
    • Implement process improvements
    • Maintain/install/uninstall packages
    • Manage system updates
    • Maintain Reports and Dashboards
  • Finance:
    • Invoice generation
    • Resolve customer issues related to billing and renewals. Complete A/R related account reconciliations and client/partner account reconciliations monthly
    • Review PO's for any contradictory terms before invoicing
    • Maintain collections follow up via phone and email
    • Maintain external portals
    • Complete and process annual financial documents such as Residency Certificates
    • Assist Senior Accountant with monthly GL revenue reconciliation (deferred revenue true up) when requested
    • Contract Management and Licensing:
    • Maintain contracts in SFDC and on internal Drive. Create and issue license keys related to sales opportunities as well as temp keys


  • experience (2-3 years) and/or Admin experience (1-3 years) highly preferred
  • Client relationship experience with excellent customer service skills
  • Excel skills (intermediate to advanced)
  • Sales/Renewals experience (2-3 years)
  • A/R or accounting experience
  • Experience with Intacct or similar GL system
  • Positive relationship building and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem solving, judgment, and organizational skills
  • Proactive and able to perform well against deadlines Highly focused; able to execute on one-off projects as well as on routine tasks.
  • Well-developed data analysis skills
  • Ability to perform self-reviews to ensure accuracy and work with minimal supervision
  • Bachelor's degree or higher
