Vaco is looking for a contract AP Specialist in Columbus, OH!

AP Specialist

Pay: $25 to $27/hour (based on experience)

Location: Hybrid schedule from East Columbus, OH

Hours: Full Time - Monday to Friday 8AM to 5PM

Start Date: 3.27.23 (6 month contract to start)

Responsibilities:

• Review, sort and match invoices and check requests
• Prepare and process accounts payable checks
• Reconciliation of payments
• Prepare analysis of accounts
• Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
• Resolve invoice discrepancies
• Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries
• Produce monthly reports as requested
• Assist in month end closing
• Monitor overall AP aging to ensure on-time payments to vendors
• Analyze invoices that do not auto-vouch and assist in long-term solutions to decrease the volume of invoices that need manually processed
• Compliance with Company Policies & Procedures

Key Skills/Requirements:

• Associates Degree or higher preferred
• 2+ years of accounts payable or accounting experience
• Knowledge of Accounts Payables
• Knowledge of general accounting procedures
• Knowledge and ability to use Microsoft Office applications
