Area Sales Manager, Renewable Energy Parts

Global Electrical Manufacturer that creates the most modern supplies for the Solar Energy Industry, other alternative fuel systems in addition to energy efficiency and automotive industry applications is hiring for an Area Sales Manager for Electrical Parts, Components & Equipment in the Greater SF-Area and Southern Nevada territories.

As an Area Sales Manager of Electrical, you will aggressively grow revenue by providing product-level expertise coupled with enhanced customer experience to drive product specification, inventory, and adoption. The position necessitates analytical thinking capabilities, to leverage data-driven arguments to make decisions as well as the ability to understand, communicate and meet customer needs.

LOCATION:

*This Individual will work at a home-office (remote) but must be local to the San Francisco-Bay Area, travel will be Northern California and South Nevada, around 30% travel. (Gasoline, Transportation, Travel Expenses, Company Car All Covered)

DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Generate product demand through joint calls with channels and specifications at non-distribution accounts.
  • Identify key account targets and work closely with customer corporate and branch locations to communicate and extend the multi-industry product value proposition
  • Work as the key point of contact on sales opportunities within electrical accounts.
  • Promote products, establishing territory and marketshare in San Francisco-Bay Area, Nor Cal, Southern Nevada.
  • Accelerate Product Acceptance within the Accounts
  • Support Channel through Joint Sales Calls, Counter Days, Lunch and Learn sessions and other various means.
  • Develop Brand Awareness within the Accounts
  • Manage the Relationship between the Accounts

REQUIREMENTS:

1. 5+ years of Sales experience in a relevant industry/domain/discipline/area such as telecom, energy, consumer products, manufacturing, industrial automation, mechatronics, electrification, manufacturing

2. Territory sales, Channel Sales

PAY RATE/SALARY/COMMISSIONS:

90K-110K + 401K + (up to 50 percent bonus)
