Job Title: Assistant Controller
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Compensation: $100,000 - $120,000 DOE plus bonus
Job Type: Direct Hire

Vaco Phoenix is working with a fast-growing and highly successful dispensary in town that is searching for a seasoned Assistant Controller! The role would assist in supervising a team of four accountants, lead business combination accounting, and work directly with external auditors to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. Vaco is looking for a solid technical accounting professional that is excited to work in a dynamic and every-changing business environment!

Credentials:

- Must have a solid technical accounting background

- Must have knowledge of ASC 842

- Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance required

- CPA or CPA candidate strongly preferred

- NetSuite experience a plus

- A mix of public and private industry experience preferred

- Ability to adapt and work in a fast-paced environment
