Vaco is partnered with a growing Real Estate firm that is looking to add an Assistant Controller to its leadership team. This position will have a ton of exposure to their multi-faceted portfolio and will lead their LA-based accounting team, with the support of the Controller. This Assistant Controller will oversee the monthly close, get exposure to investment accounting, and handle a lot of fund-related accounting. This company has excellent ownership that always puts a focus on rewarding its employees and is looking for an accounting leader to come in and instill best business practices and structure in their team. What You'll Be Doing:

• In charge of Month-end Close (Support from Controller)
• Fund Accounting, Investment Accounting
• Preparing Annual Budget
