A Westside CPG company is looking for an Assistant Controller to join their team. The Assistant Controller will be responsible for financial reporting, consolidation, cos analysis, internal controls, AR, and inventory. To be successful in this role, the Assistant Controller will need to demonstrate the ability to be approachable, a problem-solver, and have great presentation skills. What do you need for this role?

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
• 10+ years of accounting experience
• Must have demonstrated people leadership experience
• CPA a plus (especially if from public accounting)
• Must have inventory experience
• IFRS exposure would be helpful

What will you do in this role?

• Lead all aspects of accounting operations
• Maintain and establish internal controls
• Oversee consolidation for accounting and analysis to be reported up to parent company
• Prepare financial statements
• Spearhead the annual audit
• Advise on process improvement initiatives
• Manage inventory, working capital, allocations, and cost accounting
• GL maintenance
• Review regulatory reporting, tax planning, compliance, and technical research
