Location: Denver, Colorado

SUMMARY: Manufacturing organization for top-notch Alternative-Energy solutions seeks a Automation & Controls Engineer for production of robust, high-powered and heavy factory machinery with a proprietary, synchronized process. This is a surging startup organization that has teamed up with some of the leading companies on behalf of key environmental initiatives. People at this organization are passionate about their work impacting future generations with new systems, new ideas and mechanical/industrial solutions to some of the world's biggest challenges. You will be instrumental in getting everything dialed in and having the product rolling off the Production Line and having this process be scalable and repeatable.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operational requirements gathering to measure machinery interactions
• Generate the layout of electrical and mechanical control systems.
• Design and implement Human Machine Interface & control panels
• Safety Management System Implementation & Design focus for mission critical structures.
• Design, record-keeping and production authorization of industrial equipment
• Programmable Logic Controller to implement manual/feedback control of robust multi-axis systems

REQUIREMENTS:

• BECKHOFF Products REQUIRED (NON-NEGOTIABLE) + (Industrial PLC, TwinCAT HMI, TwinSAFE controllers)
• 3+ years exp. in design &/or 3-5 y/o exp. in Industrial Automation Equipment Commissioning, in addition to industrial safety.
• Experience working on machine structures with coordinated motion (5-6 Axis or more operating in concert with one another.
• Structured Text, Cognex vision
• DeviceNet, Ethernet/IP
• NFPA & UL standards
• Supervisory Control & Data Acquisition Architecture

SALARY: $92K-125K+potential for RSU's (Startup) that are discretionary depending on offer/experience-level and other determining factors, Healthcare, PTO, etc.
