Vaco Los Angeles is seeking a Benefits Manager to join a fast-growing and exciting team! The Benefits Manager is responsible for designing benefit programs and ensuring benefit programs are managed properly to maintain and improve employee satisfaction.

This position is based on-site in Thousand Oaks, CA. The opportunity offers a fun and casual work environment, competitive pay and attractive benefits, and room for growth.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Designing benefits programs for areas such as health and wellness, retirement 401k plans, leave of absence, disability, etc.
  • Manage enrollments and determine employee eligibility
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with benefits vendors
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations
  • Oversee and assist with day-to-day benefits functions and operations
  • Regularly evaluate benefit programs and implement change as necessary
  • Other benefits-related duties

Qualifications:

  • 4-6 years of experience in a benefits administration/management role
  • Solid understanding of different benefit plans
  • HRIS experience (ADP preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Experience leading a team
  • Knowledge of federal and state labor laws
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
