A law firm in DTLA is currently looking for a Billing Coordinator to join their team. Reporting to the Account and Billing Manager, the Billing Coordinator will responsible for overseeing client billing, preparing and processing client bills, communicating with internal employees, and working closely with the finance department. What do you need for this Billing Coordinator role?

  • Bachelor's Degree (in Accounting, Business, or Finance preferred)
  • 5+ years of legal billing experience
  • Advanced Excel (pivot tables, v look ups, if formulas)
  • Knowledge of e-billing vendor software
  • Be detailed and have great communication skills

What will you do in this Billing Coordinator role?

  • Distribution and review of monthly proformas
  • Created and edit draft bills, and process comments and edits
  • Create, process, and monitor e-bills
  • Approve rates and fees shown to enable accurate client billing
  • Communicate with billing partners in regard to billing status and ad hoc requests
  • Work close with international billing teams
  • Work with cash receipts and AP to fix payment and vendor issues
  • Record detailed billing notes and files
  • Communicate with Accountants to maintain accurate financial reporting
