Business Central 365 Financial Business Analyst


Reporting to the Senior ERP Project manager, the IT department is seeking a Business Central Financial analyst who can effectively partner with the internal Finance and Accounting team. This candidate will implement and/or support Finance business applications, specifically Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, in a Food and Beverage environment. The candidate will be a customer-focused team member who will lead projects; solicit, understand, and document the business requirements and processes. This resource will proactively identify and resolve issues and provide ongoing production support in the Business Central ERP system. This role will work closely with other members of the Digital, Technology and Operations team. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of accounting and will lead the business users to best practice business processes.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Participate in the Implementation and deployment of Dynamics 365 Business Central software.
  • Provide production support (technical and functional) for Business Central 365.
  • Troubleshoot application issues.
  • Lead business requirements sessions.
  • Document business requirements.
  • Review and document business processes.
  • Collaborate with Project manager to define required tasks for project planning.
  • Conduct application training.
  • Create end user documentation.
  • Create functional specifications for system enhancements and customizations.
  • Coordinate with development team to unit test system enhancements/customizations.
  • Recommend ways to improve business process for greater efficiency and to align with industry best practice.
  • Perform data migration and conversion tasks.

Desired Skills & Competencies:

  • Must have prior Business Central 365 experience.
  • Strong background in Finance and Accounting.
  • Background in business analysis.
  • Experience in Food and Beverage environment a plus.
