Job Description

CPA preferred managing the daily Finance/Accounting activities of the organization, Prepare Financial statements, month end close, journal entries, account analysis, budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and analysis, operations management, QuickBooks, and special projects. THIS ROLE IS 100 PERCENT IN THE OFFICE. The CFO/Controller position is a very hands on role up your sleeves. QuickBooks and heavy Excel.

We are searching for a bright and enthusiastic Chief Financial Officer/Controller lead financial operations, including accounting, purchasing, financial planning and reporting, revenue forecasting, risk management, and financial systems and analytics to deliver on operational budget and revenue goals. You must be a team player. We are a company built on entrepreneurship, collaboration and creativity.
* Serve as finance leader to influence, guide and support new business opportunities. Review and refine investment strategies for business cases in collaboration with the owner.
* Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and budget analysis for ownership and any external parties as needed.
* Recommend and develop financial policies, procedures and systems to meet company objectives.
* Provide strategic financial leadership and support on the evaluation of potential alliances, acquisitions
* Recommend and lead new efforts to improve return on investment.
* Optimize the handling of bank and deposit relationships and initiate needed strategies for improvement.
* Build, develop and manage financing capable of carrying out needed initiatives.
* Keep current with trends.
* Working knowledge of short and long-term budgeting and forecasting, rolling budgets, and product-line profitability analysis
* Proven problem solving and negotiation skills

* Strategic thinker with strengths in financial management
* Proven track record in leading finance operations to achieve growth plans
* Problem solver with ability to develop effective financial operational strategies
* Ability to work with and communicate with ownership
* Ability to balance multiple and sometimes conflicting objectives while working with multiple clients and ownership
* Experience: Minimum of 10 years professional experience in finance and accounting management
* Required: Bachelor's degree in accounting
