Compensation Manager

Lead the creation and implementation of competitive and equitable compensation programs that are aligned with business objectives and in compliance with government regulations.

Job Duties

  • Leader of annual salary planning process.
  • Lead the planning & development as well as implementation of short-term and long-term incentives, as well as other variable compensation programs.
  • Manages annual review and incentive programs which is aligned with company objectives.
  • Directs appropriate personnel on various compensation issues.
  • Communicates appropriately with managers and leaders to ensure overall successful administration of compensation programs. Provides training as appropriate to ensure thorough comprehension of all programs.
  • Ensures programs are competitive by understanding market trends and adjusts programs as necessary to attract and retain personnel.
  • Provides compensation program evaluations following any mergers, acquisitions and divestitures.

Skills and Experience

  • BA/BS in Business Administration or Human Resources
  • 8+ years of relevant experience
  • Thorough knowledge of leading compensation practices and policies, as well as employment laws.
  • Excellent written and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with executive management and other leaders within the organization.
  • Strong management skillset, along with the ability to foster teamwork to effectively meet deadlines.
