Construction Project Manager in Indianapolis, IN at Vaco

Job Description

Vaco Indianapolis has partnered with a Construction Company located on the Southwest side of Indianapolis to fill a Project Manager role.

This is a Direct Hire opportunity.

Official JD:
Project Manager (PM) will be running steel projects from start to finish. PM will be responsible for coordinating with the estimator, controller, purchasing manager, detailers, shop foreman, and others as well as going on site visits and attending jobsite meetings. PM will work with the staff through estimating, sales, project turnover, project management, detailing review, contract review, purchasing coordination, scheduling, and subcontract management.

Job Responsibilities
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural/miscellaneous steel industry
* Excellent communication skills. Job will require meeting with owners, architects, engineers, contractors, detailers, erectors to plan and deliver projects on time.
* Ability to understand construction/fabrication drawings a must.
* Multi-task oriented individual, who is proactive
* Knowledge of Tekla/BIM software

Education:
* High school or equivalent (Required)
* Assoc. or Bachelor's Degree in Construction (Preferred)

Experience:
* Project management: 5 years (Preferred)
* Construction Project Managers: 5 years (Preferred)
