Content Marketing Manager

Position Description:

  • Serve as an in-house, deep expert for Content Marketing, Thought Leadership, Contact Strategy, and PR/Communications
  • Accountable for all content marketing initiatives to drive traffic, engagement, leads, that deliver sales and customer retention
  • Build strong relationships and work collaboratively with peers to deliver an effective content marketing strategy and editorial plan to meet the business objectives at the lowest possible cost
  • Works closely with SEO and Brand and Creative resources
  • Works with Strategy Director and LOB leads for the development of Thought Leadership opportunities
  • Works with the internal and external communications team to develop earned media opportunities
  • Brand publisher mindset: create content for key audience is looking for and then to optimize the path to conversion
  • Editorial requirements include basic content categorization and structure, content development, distribution, and measurement.
  • Work with Brand Manager and Creative Director to develop and maintain editorial governance consistent with our brand voice, style, and tone
  • Manages editorial calendar and organization
  • Consistently plan, supervise and track the performance of content to move customers along the buy, own, advocate journey
  • Integration of content programs with brand campaigns to drive the brand to demand


  • Minimum 4-6 years as a proven marketing professional
  • Experience creating content for the web and growing a social audience
  • Editorial mindset that seeks to understand what audiences consume and how to create it
  • Ability to analyze and present content and performance
  • Experience with CRM tools, Google analytics, and top social channels
  • Project management skills and understanding how to manage the priorities of multiple stakeholders in a complex environment and focus on the delivery of results in the form of engagement, leads, and sales.
