Job Description

Vaco is partnered with an interactive and attention-grabbing, national retail company that is looking to bring on a Controller for their growing business. This position is 100% Remote!

As their Controller, they are aiming for someone that has had exposure to public accounting/Audit and private industry. A candidate coming from an inventory-based environment will make for an easier transition as they will need to account for these duties in addition to leading the financial close. What You'll Be Doing:

• Leading Month-end close
• Leading internal/external audits
• Making improvements, being technical, and finding inefficiencies
• Assisting with implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures

What's In It For You:

• $150K - $225K + Options
• 100% Remote role - Bi-Annual trips to HQ
• Hands-on role - the ability to work autonomously

What You'll Need:

• Controller level experience
• Ability to lead teams, provide structure, instill best practices
• Inventory Accounting familiarity (Industries: Retail, CPG, Manufacturing, etc.)
• Public Accounting/Private Industry (Preferred)
