CONTROLLER

Now recruiting on behalf of fast-growing start-up (private equity-backed) company in Atlanta for a Controller. The company is presently in the $20-40M revenue range, but positioned for extremely high-growth in the near future. The Controller will work along-side the CFO to help build out the accounting team, processes, and systems to scale up for future exponential growth. (This role works a hybrid mix of remote and in the office.)

The Controller role will be responsible for all aspects of accounting management - financial reporting, GAAP compliance, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, intercompany transactions, variance analysis, internal controls and compliance. This will be the point person for managing external audit and tax relationships. The Controller will also play a key role in the implementation of an upgraded ERP system.

The right candidate for this Controller opportunity will have:

• Bachelor's in Accounting
• CPA strongly preferred
• Public accounting experience very helpful
• 8-10+ years of relevant experience
• Experience working in a Private Equity-backed, high-growth company
• Prior experience leading in a Controller capacity
• Strong systems acumen, with a preference for someone who has been through a systems implementation
• Experience working in a recurring revenue model business.
• Desire to work in fast-paced, high-growth environment
• Strong understanding of GAAP compliance
