Controller

Compensation: $100K - $150k DOE

Location: North Mesa, AZ (hybrid schedule)

Vaco has partnered with a stable and locally owned construction company. They are looking for a controller to join their team. This position has great opportunity to work with executive leadership and help make large company decisions.

Responsibilities include:

• Analyze financials to help strategic company decisions.
• Prepare financial documents such as business reports, financial forecasts, and statements to understand the financial state of business.
• Oversee employees in the accounting department in preparing financial reports and budgets.
• Monitor a company's financial reports and determine ways to reduce costs

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA / CMA preferred
• Construction experience required
• 5+ years of accounting experience in controller or similar role
