Wholesale/Retaill/E-Commerce industry experience preferred

Growing organization, 250M for publicly traded company seeking a Controller with strong inventory management and SAP skillset.

Candidate will manage a team of 20 individuals

The Controller will report directly to the SVP of Accounting and Finance and will oversee the accounting operations

-Production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles.

-Responsible for the Company's consolidated monthly, quarterly and annual financial close and reporting processes, as well as monitoring and establishing accounting policies and internal controls in compliance with GAAP, SOX, and all other regulatory standards

-Optimize monthly close processes

-Responsible for the evaluation of all significant accounting transactions, research, and implementation of relevant accounting technical standards supporting all accounting positions.

-Oversees and manages the financial reporting process, review of monthly and quarterly close and preparation of consolidated financial statements

-Lead all external and internal audit requirements

-Provide support for the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes

Requirements & Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or Economics required, MBA is a plus
    • CPA, CGMA, CMA, CFA certification, Certified Treasury Professional accreditation, or equivalent
    • 5-10 years of experience in a Management capacity
    • Experience in the retail or wholesale industry, preferably in a consulting and/or agency setting
    • Experience working with Inventory Control, SAP experience., and SOX controls
    • Knowledge of U.S. General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
