As a Controller, you will serve as a financial expert for our client. This involves handling a variety of general to complex accounting functions, providing analytical support, and supervising staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the preparation and reporting, both internally and externally, of monthly, quarterly and annual consolidated financial information and subsidiaries.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and accounting consultant to all of company, and prepare financial analyses and studies as required to support decision making of Bechtel senior management. Works to achieve goals while overcoming obstacles and/or planning for contingencies.
  • Prepare financial analysis, plans, studies and presentations as required for management.
  • Ensure compliance with US GAAP and serve as the key interface with external auditors, as well as keep abreast of changes in accounting and auditing standards, develop implementation plans to adopt new standards and works with management to ensure successful implementation.
  • Support business units with financial information needed for proposals.
  • Partner with business units and internal stakeholders to determine the optimal business structure when establishing new entities and business ventures or adjusting existing structures.
  • Collaborate with other corporate finance groups (Tax, Treasury, Management Information and Planning) to ensure consistency in guidance and thorough analysis of financial issues. Shows strong passion and sense of urgency about reaching targets.
  • Design a performance management process to monitor projects and deliver results that exceed expectations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and 10+ years of experience in a Fortune 1000 organization working as the Controller or Assistant Controller.
  • CPA License
  • Experience with large multi-national, multi-entity group consolidations.
