Director of Technical Services - Permanent/Direct-Hire Division

A Day in the Life

Your CTO client just called.  He’s in desperate need of a product development leader.  Or maybe he needs an experienced project manager to lead a critical implementation.  As Director of Technical Services for Vaco Technology,

  • Develop new and existing client relationships to win projects, temporary, contract, contract-to-hire, and direct-hire/permanent opportunities in the areas of Business Intelligence, Software Development, Project Management, and more.

  • Source, screen, interview, and evaluate candidates for temporary, contract, and contract-to-hire opportunities.

  • Reviews, reformats and presents resumes to meet client expectations.

  • Develop strategies designed to qualify candidates through various tools or network.

  • Negotiate pay rates with consultants based on position requirements.

  • Meet with candidates in person, telephone, or video conference to assess qualifications.

  • Work with sales team to help drive the delivery strategy for your candidates.

  • Regularly make calls, attend client meetings and social events, and leverage your network to deepen ties with organizational leaders, hiring managers, and c-suite executives while serving as a consultative business partner.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years' experience in IT recruiting, staffing, and/or related business development or technology sales.

  • Proven success achieving and/or exceeding performance goals.

  • Detailed, organized, and adaptable.

  • Economically motivated with high desire to grow professionally and financially.
