Hot eCommerce Marketing Manager Opportunity!

$75-95k + 10% bonus

Job Definition:

This role will oversee a large team including Marketing Specialists, Photographer, Digital Designer, and Copywriter - managing both the workflow processes and prioritization for the individual marketing members, with a focus on quality yet efficient output. This position will manage the product launch calendar and process - both setting timelines and holding internal parties accountable for hitting them.

The ideal candidate will be an expert at understanding the key selling features of a product and building content strategies that effectively communicate such to help convert a sale - all while having a keen understanding of the target demographic/product style and remaining on brand.

Primary Responsibilities:

* Serve as team leader for the eCommerce marketing vertical by managing a growing team of dynamic marketers

* Coordinate with eCommerce Product Development and Sales on Product Launches to ensure that a strategy is in place to appropriately market the product based on retailer programs and marketing specifications

* Create Product Launch Schedule for eCommerce and hold key stakeholders accountable

* Leverage retailer specifications and benchmark against best-in-class standards to create product specific Content Guides (Imagery + Copy) for eCommerce

* Oversee the eCommerce Photography is ensure image creation that helps support retailer specific requirements and any associated additional collateral

* Direct photographer, review contact sheets, and provide feedback

* Ensure delivery of photography to retailers and audit retailer websites to confirm imagery is onsite

* Maintain a database of stock imagery and coordinate with Digital Designer on Photoshop strategy

* Oversee the writing of copy for item launches and refresh of copy for existing items to newly developed standards

* Develop and oversee the execution of the site merchandising plan for eCommerce partners - including enriched content creation

* Oversee the delivery of content to our eCommerce partners - inclusive of owning content updates to retailers

* Manage the digital advertising/sponsored product (CPC) strategy, act as liaison with external management agency

* Collaborate with Product Development and Sales to champion brand guidelines for eComm Private and White Label Brands


5+ years' of management experience both leading and developing a team

5+ years' experience in a comprehensive marketing capacity, preferable in CPG

Ability to understand the features/benefits of a product and successfully communicate them

Strong project management, multi-tasking, decision-making, and judgment skills with a metrics driven marketing mind and an eye for creativity

Proven history of successful brand and/or product launch strategy implementation

Understanding of product photography and graphic design processes

Experience in digital marketing and management of CPC strategy

Understanding of marketing systems, automated marketing tools, and data-analytics platforms
