Job Description

Our Vaco Client is looking to hire a Finance Manager in Raleigh, NC. The Finance Manager is responsible for the company-wide planning and projection processes, management reporting, financial systems, and corporate analysis. Qualified candidates must possess strong financial modeling, business planning, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures that the day-to-day accounting operations and financial management functions are performed in accordance with company's policies and procedures, and in accordance with US GAAP.
  • Provide budget summaries to various levels of management including senior leaders.
  • Develop financial models and analyses to support business cases for growth, products and other initiatives. Review and influence the key assumptions driving the business case to ensure reasonability, feasibility, and credibility
  • Timely and accurate month, quarter, and year-end closing of corporate financials.
  • Assist with the preparation of financial and business-related analysis and research in such areas as financial and expense performance, cost of sales, cash flow forecasting, and working capital.
  • Assist with the preparation of the monthly forecast process
  • Lead the maintenance and development of robust and efficient financial consolidation and planning systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Management, or Accounting
  • 9+ years in finance or financial planning is strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities
  • Ability to think quickly and strategically to meet deadlines
  • Requires excellent project management skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects

Job Requirements
