Job Description

We are searching for an experienced Financial Analyst for our Corporate Headquarters facility. The Financial Analyst will provide analytical capabilities to support the Financial Reporting Controller and CFO with financial functions such as assessing, auditing, planning, budgeting, treasury, consolidation, cost control and project control. This position will typically analyze past and present records of operations, trends and costs, estimated and realized revenues, administrative commitments, and obligations incurred to project future revenues and expenses.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Analyzes past and present financial data of the Company and estimates future revenues and expenditures, applying principles of finance and accounting
  • Evaluates and analyzes capital expenditures, depreciation, proposals, investment opportunities, rate of return, profit plans, operating records, financial statements, etc.
  • Develops financial/accounting concepts for financial planning and control
  • Assists in preparation of special studies, analyses, and recommendations in areas such as budgets, forecasts, financial plans, governmental requirements, statistical reports, business forecasts, and mergers and acquisitions
  • Advises management on matters such as effective use of resources and assumptions underlying budget forecasts
  • Acts as consultant to management on financial policies, procedures, and applications
  • Bank and credit agreement administration

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting; MBA preferred
  • 3-4 years of experience in financial analysis or accounting, previous experience in manufacturing preferred
  • Critical thinker with advanced technical skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively across functions and businesses
  • Ability to work effectively and accurately with multiple priorities
