Will be responsible for all aspects of accounting and treasury functions.

Primary Responsibilities

Monthly close process in accordance with GAAP:
Three statement close every month (BS, IS, and CF)
- Full review of balance sheet analysis
- Understanding of permitted addbacks per loan indenture
- Improving monthly close process to make more efficient, accurate, and timely
Always keeping an eye on expected future quarter's covenant compliance
Primary liaison w outside auditors to insure timely annual audit completion
Primary liaison w tax preparers to insure timely filed and paid tax liabilities
Establishing, monitoring and enforcing internal control policies and procedures
Directly supervising:
- Assistant controller who supervises accounting staff of four
- Accounts receivable (credit and collections) manager
- Accounts payable manager
- Payroll
Treasury functions including but not limited to:
- 13-week cash flow projection
- Minimize interest exp through selection of rate/time tranches on borrowings
- Maintaining adequate revolver availability while also maintaining good vendor relationships
- Serve as approver for online banking needs

Knowledge, Skills, Core Competencies

Previous experience as a Controller
Experience preparing multi-currency financial statements is a must
Experience working with Spreadsheet Server report writer preferred but not required
Experience improving installed systems highly valued
Experience working with self-funded or high deductible insurance plans -includes both overall costs and reserves
Credibility and verifiable history of ethical behavior
Experience working for Private Equity preferred but not required
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
