Software Engineering:


Our client is looking for an experienced Frontend Web Developer to join the team. In this position, you will be designing and developing full stack applications primarily in Angular Typescript and Java.

You will also be developing and supporting scalable client-side and server-side components, interfacing with stakeholders and end-users as needed. You will find some of the additional responsibilities below:


  • Write and review technical documents, including design, development and collaborative code reviews.

  • Architect pipelines and backends to serve data via RESTful APIs.

  • Design and implement responsive and UX rich front-ends.

  • Monitor and enhance performance of existing applications and services.

  • Build platforms and/or pipelines to aggregate data from multiple sources.

  • Create and implement test plans and test cases.

Minimum:


  • BS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math or related quantitative field or 4 years of experience in software development

  • Software development experience in one or more of these programming languages. (Java, C/C++, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Go)

  • Experience in with front-end frameworks (e.g. Angular, Polymer, React).

  • High proficiency in web application development and business focused communication.

  • Experience in one or more of the following: Unix/Linux environments, relational/non-relational databases, mobile application development, API development (e.g. REST), backend system design, frontend system design, data pipelines.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with two or more general purpose programming languages.

  • Experience with serialized data (JSON, XML, Protocol Buffers).

  • Experience in big data or scaled / sharded system design.

  • Experience developing web services and microservices on cloud infrastructure (e.g. Google Cloud, AWS).

  • Ability to manage software development projects and prioritize tasks.

  • A passion for engineering excellence and ample experience with unit testing, agile project development, and bug and change management systems.
