Our client, a local Real Estate Development and Management Company located near Millburn, NJ is adding a Full Charge Bookkeeper to their team!

In this position the ideal candidate will be responsible for:

  • Pay Bills (a/p)
  • Open mail
  • Bill tenants (a/r)
  • Make deposits
  • Process payroll weekly (under 10)
  • 16 bank reconciliations
  • Process Distributions
  • Answer main line Phone calls
  • New tenant paperwork processing, applications, renewals, credit checks, lawsuits
  • Handle Tax distributions
  • Support outside accountants Jan-April for year-end tax filings
  • Pay taxes
  • Process 1099's
  • Account for Quarterly sales tax
  • Prepare Bills for insurance, affiliations, and reimbursements
  • General property accounting for residential and commercial properties

The ideal candidate must have the following experience:

  • Previous experience as a full-charge bookkeeper
  • 10+ years experience
  • Desire to work for a smaller/family-run company
  • MRI is a plus
  • Strong Microsoft Excel
  • Automated payroll System experience
