Location: Kitchener, ON with Hybrid Model (full remote available for truly exceptional talent)

Job Description:

  • Our client is working with real world feedbacks from Surgeons & Patients and ready to take the innovative technology to the next level.
  • Right now, their solution tells the surgeon's "Where they are at" in their current surgery operations and will like to provide info to the surgeons on "where the placements need to be."
  • You will be involved in building the next generation of surgical planning software.


  • Demonstrated hands-on experience along with proven track record of delivering robust, scalable, and maintainable web applications.
  • Product development, product management, UI design and the Dev team to build solutions that delight patients and surgeons.
  • Writing, Performing, Reviewing, resolving code with technical and architectural decision making.
  • Strong communication skills between yourself, team, and cross functional stakeholders.
  • Works with Project Manager to balance risk, quality, schedule, and resources.
  • Web Application Development.
  • Staying current with evolving tech, building new tech and utilizing new tech.


  • Geeks out over algorithms, data structures, design patterns and evolving technologies.
  • Has 4+ years working with full stack technologies including OOP experience, React, TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, Redux, and Django.
  • Has demonstrated expertise and hands-on experience with full stack development, along with a proven track record of delivering robust, scalable, and maintainable web applications.
  • Need to have a computer science degree or masters.
  • Knowledge of data store technologies (e.g., PostgreSQL, SQLite), cybersecurity (e.g., NIST) and privacy (e.g., HIPAA).
  • Experience with AWS (Open to candidates with other experience if they understand cloud)
  • Comfortable with Mathematical principles in programing.
  • Experience with full software development lifecycle, development, testing, deployment & maintenance.

Good to have:

  • Experience with DICOM, DICOM web, surgical template, and/or PACS software.
