Job Description

Global Leader in the global commercial real estate services and investments space is seeking a Fund Controller to join their growing team!

The Fund Controller will work in tandem with the Senior Controller to coordinate the fund reporting and communicate with internal and external stakeholders.

• Monitor financial performance - in depth review of monthly property level reports and presenting to leadership
• Produce fund financial statements and other required financial information including, but not limited to investor funded and unfunded commitments, asset accrual methodology, and output.
• Prepare budgeting, forecasting, and reporting activities.
• Act as point of contact for Investors
• Prepare, analyse, and review periodic NAV calculations.
• Operate activities of the treasury, such as cash management, and accounting function of the fund.
• System implementation and provide unique ways to streamline processes.
• Ad hoc projects as needed

• Bachelor/Master's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience
• Prior experience in fund level accounting preferred with real estate accounting or fund accounting software systems
• Strong technical financial skills and knowledge of GAAP, FASB, REIS, IFRS
• In depth analytical skills
• Solid knowledge of financial systems, working in multiple accounting software applications
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues from different countries and cultures.
