Healthcare Controller

Location: Scottsdale

Compensation: $120K - $140K base plus bonus and equity (DOE)

Vaco is working on an exciting Controller role for a successful Healthcare company located in the Phoenix Valley. If you have 5+ years' experience as an Operational Controller and thrive in a fast-paced and deadline driven environment, this may be a great opportunity for you!

Requirements/Qualifications:

• BS in Finance or Accounting required
• Public accounting experience highly preferred
• Healthcare industry experience preferred but not necessary
• 5+ years' experience as an operational controller and 10+ years accounting experience
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced and deadline driven environment
• Self-motivated
• Interested in learning SEC reporting and compliance (experience not necessary)

Your daily duties and responsibilities will generally include:

• Managing and reviewing assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual general ledger closing processes
• SEC reporting and compliance
• Assisting in the development of financial statements and reports
• Establishing and coordinating all accounting procedures for the business unit
• Investigating significant trends/variances in financial data
• Assisting in the formulation of the budget and preparing the monthly budget variance analyses
