Job Description

Vaco is seeking an HRIS Benefits Administrator for a great wholesale specialty insurance firm in the Lenox/Buckhead area. This role is designed to support the HRIS Benefits Manager with day-to-day operations. This is a robust role and will require someone with excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with C-Suite executives. This is a direct hire role paying $80-$90k.

Job Duties:

  • Strives to ensure employee understanding of benefits programs by regularly drafting communications and counseling employees as situations arise. Referring employees to third party claims resolution team and monitoring for completion
  • Coordinates and assists with ACA, ERISA, 409A, and HIPAA reporting and compliance requirements
  • Supports the annual enrollment period each year including HRIS configuration, distribution of plan summary materials and required notices, assisting with drafting communications including changes to rates and plan design, answering employee inquires, and auditing enrollment elections
  • Ensures the accuracy of all benefit enrollments in the HRIS
  • Responds to 401(k) inquiries from employees relating to enrollments, plan changes, withdrawals, and contribution amounts. Manages the annual true up process
  • Scans documentation to personnel files and payroll files for SOX compliance
  • Plans and organizes wellness related activities throughout the year to include drafting communications, scheduling, day of coordination, and follow up with vendors and employee questions
  • Assists with reporting, tracking and communicating requirements related to earning the discounted medical rates annually. This requires proficient usage of Microsoft Excel
  • Maintains and administers the Wellness Rewards program including approving point assignments, processing files, communicating with employees and our vendors, processing reward distributions as needed

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree and at least 5-7 years of relevant HR experience
  • Experience using Ultimate Software preferred
  • Demonstrated experience creating written materials, including promotional items
  • Knowledge of benefits administration, compliance, and other human resources laws
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
