Hybrid Senior Accountant in Danvers, MA at Vaco

Job Description

Vaco Boston has partnered with our client to help fill an Senior Accountant role.

Responsibilities:

• Handle month-end close process, including preparing journal entries, monthly account reconciliations and maintain supporting schedules that provide detail of account balances shown on the general ledger.
• Complex GL account analysis
• Assist with analyzing financial statements and financial reporting
• Prepare quarterly and annual regulatory reports/fillings
• Ensures sub-ledgers are reconciled to the general ledger
• Reconcile multiple cash accounts to the bank statements
• Budgeting/Forecasting
• Ad Hoc analysis as needed

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Big 4 Experience Preferred
• CPA preferred
• 3+ years general accounting experience
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills
