Interim Accounting Manager in Redlands, CA at Vaco

Job Description

Our client in the Redlands area is currently seeking an Accounting Manager on a consulting basis to cover a leave of abscence. The role is fully remote, but our client is seeking local candidates only as they will be returning to the office by summer. The ideal consultant will have mid to large size company experience ($100-500M+ in revenue) and be a CPA. This role will have no supervisory duties.

Your areas of responsibility in this role will generally include:

• Managing month-end closing process, including GL roll-ups and reconciliations
• Monthly reporting, including assisting with an ongoing audit
• Reviewing and analyzing financial statements and variances

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• Prior public accounting experience or a CPA is highly desired
• 5+ recent years in accounting for an organization over $100M in revenue
