Job Description

Vaco Technology is currently looking for an IT Project Manager for a direct hire role with a hybrid work schedule with one of our clients located on the Southwest side of Indianapolis. This client is unable to work with C2C at this time and candidates must be able to work in the US without sponsorship.

This role will be responsible for managing projects of varying complexity for both SDLC and infrastructure projects. The project manager will collaborate with teams and departments across the organization to deliver results that are on time, on budget and achieve the originally outlined outcomes. A successful candidate can manage a variety of resources in an effective manner and in compliance with established PMO and industry standards.


  • Work within industry defined process flows to manage day-to-day project activities managing metrics for changes in quality, cost, or schedule
  • Develop and track all project activities at detailed level, including detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates and status reports
  • Driver personality who can work with a variety of individuals (internal, vendors and outsourced resources) with the innate ability to achieve successful results
  • Manage the relationship with the client and relevant stakeholders
  • Organize and conduct project team meetings
  • Minimize risk through proper project management monitoring and reporting
  • Report any project roadblocks and risk factors to management and develop mitigation plans in alignment with management
  • Rely on technical background to identify and coach team with an eye towards issue resolution
  • Manage Agile and Waterfall projects within established PMO processes


  • Bachelor's degree is required and preferred in one of the following areas: Information Technology, Business, Computer Science
  • 3+ years of experience


  • Project Management training or relevant certifications
  • Scrum Master Training or certification
  • Experience in managing IT projects in Manufacturing, Engineering, or Marketing and Sales functions
