IT Specialist
3-month Contract to Hire
Mountainside, NJ

Responsibilities:

  • Help desk support to users on computer hardware, Windows 10, Office 2016, Adobe Acrobat, web applications and business applications specific to construction industry.
  • Maintain inventory of computer equipment.
  • Work with Purchasing to procure computer equipment for UPC/Tracks offices, obtain quotes for computer hardware/software when bidding construction projects and purchase those items when projects are awarded to UPC and/or Tracks.
  • Deploy new laptops, tablets and desktop PCs as needed in our office.
  • Manage cell phone accounts, including but not limited to: itemizing monthly cell phone bills by project, Approving cell phone bills monthly, setting up new cell phones and issuing replacement cell phones.
  • Manage email accounts, including but not limited to: setting up new email accounts for new users, closing out email accounts no longer used, and searching email history for legal/discovery purposes.
  • Manage desk phones - deploy new extensions to new users.
  • Download and approve communication bills; maintain AutoPay for these bills.
  • Work with IT Director to install application upgrades at all desks
