Job Description

THE TEAM

Situated within the Legal department, the Content Policy team creates, communicates, and enforces the

rules for how our platform may be used by our event creators and consumers. We serve a crucial role in

allowing our community to experience our company in a way that fosters trust, safety, diversity, and

inclusiveness, and also internally managing certain legal and compliance risk associated with the

platform. We utilize proactive and strategic content detection methods and strive to scale our

operations to become a best-in-class global content policy program.

THE ROLE

Candidates must be able to make difficult decisions under pressure, use critical thinking skills, and be

strong communicators. As a Content Policy Operations Specialist, you will work with a highly talented and

experienced team of subject matter experts on content policies. You will be responsible for

helping the team enforce policies that best serve the company and the people who use our services.

You will:

● Review reported and flagged content to quickly and accurately assess for compliance with

content policies

● Process notice-and-takedown claims regarding copyright, trademark and other legal issues

● Communicate with event creators about community guidelines over email

● Field inquiries and escalations from internal stakeholders such as Sales, Customer Support,

Communications, and Trust & Safety

● Understand and remain up-to-date with policies, processes, and Community Guidelines; resolve

inquires according to defined policies and procedures

● Identify content policy gaps and trends to help improve content policies and methods of detection

and enforcement

● Provide suggestions for process and tool improvements to drive operational efficiency

● Respond to user inquiries with clear and concise communication, speed, empathy, and accuracy

● Summarize findings, generate reports, and escalate threats as necessary

● Use insights from investigations and other inputs to proactively mitigate risk and to inform and

improve operations and execution
