The Manager Solutions Delivery will manage and implement system wide projects throughout their life cycle. This position requires collaboration with various stakeholders, the ability to manage project scope, budget, and timeline to make sure project goals are met. This candidate will oversee the collections and documentations for project requirements, originate the project plan, project communication, status reporting, vendor management, risk and issue management, and additional project tasks. This candidate will report to the CIO.

JOB SUMMARY

Vaco Technology is currently seeking a Manager Solutions Delivery for a direct hire opportunity in Dallas, TX. This position is 100% remote but candidate must be local to Dallas, TX. The Manager Solutions Delivery will manage and implement system wide projects throughout their life cycle. This position requires collaboration with various stakeholders, the ability to manage project scope, budget, and timeline to make sure project goals are met. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Holds knowledge of best practices and how teams interact with others; displays awareness of the industry, including regulatory, evolving customer demands, and the factors that differentiate the organization in the market
  • May lead projects with manageable risks and resource requirements
  • Resolves complex problems and takes a new perspective on existing solutions; exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information Impacts a range of customer, operational, project or service activities within own team and other related teams
  • Works independently, receives minimal guidance
  • Coordinates and conducts meetings with senior leadership teams and business partners, including status meetings, requirements gathering meetings and lessons learned meetings. Collects requirements and defines and sequences activities to develop the Project Schedule.
  • Guarantee project deliverables satisfy project requirements throughout project life cycle Identifies, monitors, and addresses project risks and issues
  • Report all project activity using established processes and associated templates
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration or related field required.
  • 5+ years' experience in project management or related experience is required
  • PMP Certification is preferred
  • Strong customer service focus and detailed oriented individual
  • Facilitate other IT staff in day-to-day duties preferred
  • Monitors, documents, and reports lessons learned among project team and peers
  • Mentors, trains project teams and vendors in project management methods, procedures, and activities
  • Assists with Department and system wide project reporting Development
  • Stays current on industry trends and project management tools and techniques
