Network Infrastructure Manager, Information Technology

Position Summary
The Network Infrastructure Manager's role is to plan, organize, and manage staff and network infrastructure operations to ensure the stable operation of the organization's IT infrastructure. This includes developing, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing key functional areas, particularly network infrastructure, server infrastructure, data communications, and telecommunications systems. The Infrastructure Manager will also schedule and direct activities to resolve hardware and software problems in a timely and accurate fashion. A Service Desk ticketing system is used to manage assignments and projects.

Requirements, Duties and Responsibilities
* 7+ years of network administration and troubleshooting experience, including management of teams, in a MS environment with Citrix and Cisco products
* Strong knowledge of ITIL, PCI, TCP/IP, LAN, VLAN and WAN networking including BGP, EIGRP, MPLS, PPTP, and Wireless WAN
* Well versed in Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS and associated trouble shooting skills
* Familiar with SNMP and very adept with network monitoring tools
* Experience installing, operating, and maintaining network equipment, including VMWare, SANs, Servers, Firewalls, Routers and multi-layer Switches
* Ability to support a highly available production environment requiring varying, but flexible hours and ability to travel throughout the US
* Experience participating in the development of IT strategies in collaboration with the Executive Team and other business units
* Strong organizational skills for IT asset management, including maintenance of component inventory and related documentation
* Demonstrated ability to proactively resolve problems; Strong ability to perform well under pressure; Can work independently and as part of a team. Position manages a small staff.
* Extensive experience documenting networks, procedures, systems, and practices
* Ability to accurately estimate project and labor costs
* Incident Management experience including ownership of incidents through resolution
* Assist in coaching/mentoring/training team members
* Coordinate and facilitate activities with vendors
* Assist in the preparation of RFPs, bid proposals, contracts, scope of work reports, and other associated infrastructure documentation
* Negotiate with vendors and contractors to secure infrastructure-specific products and services
* Assist with the planning and deployment of infrastructure security measures
* Ability to balance, prioritize, and multi-task while being process-minded and detail oriented
* Excellent trouble-shooting, communication and customer service skills.

Bachelor's degree in business, computer science or related field. Additional training in various computer disciplines and systems required. Preferred disciplines include Cisco CCNP, Cisco CCNA Security, Citrix CCA, ITIL, CompTIA Network+, and Microsoft MCSE
