Job Description

Vaco Richmond is seeking a dedicated and positive office manager & bookkeeper for a direct-hire role located in Glen Allen. The position will be focused on administrative/office support duties as well as transactional accounting responsibilities.

  • Facilitate company meetings, lunch and learns, employee engagement events, etc.
  • Respond to vendor emails and negotiate if possible
  • Open and distribute mail
  • Answer phone calls that come into the office (15-20 calls a day)
  • Basic A/P, A/R, billing duties
  • Ability to cross-train on additional accounting duties
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to jump in to help others when needed
  • Team player
  • Previous office manager experience as well as transactional accounting experience (2+ years)
  • Degree preferred but not required
