Job Description

We are seeking a Paralegal clerk for a client in Sarasota. Qualifications and job duties include the following:


Bachelor's degree preferred
Paralegal Certificate is a plus
Prior professional or office experience; experience with a law firm is a plus
Strong verbal (including telephone) and written communication skills
Knowledge of litigation process and documents preferred
Must be detail oriented and capable of managing multiple projects for different attorneys
Must demonstrate the ability to adhere to deadlines
Must communicate and cooperate with all members of a case team
Proficiency in MS Office Suite


Conduct general online research using Lexis/Westlaw
Prepare and organize documents for litigation, including depositions and trials
Schedule conferences and depositions, maintain attorney calendars
Manage bills for third party vendors, process check requests and follow up with accounting
Prepare legal filings: format documents, pull exhibits, proofread and redact documents
E-file court documents
Review, analyze and organize document productions by opposing parties and co-defendants
Administrative and clerical tasks such as ordering supplies
