Job Summary: Oversees the production of periodic financial reports; ensures that the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or financial reporting standards.
Job Tasks
Manage the financial operations of the company covering accounting, treasury management, budgeting, audit and taxation
Provide financial and commercial guidance to help with various business decisions
Maintain full ownership over management reporting
Complete Monthly closing in a timely manner and justify to Singapore of any variances
Provide financial analysis and forecasts to the management team with qualitative and quantitative analysis and recommendations
Analyze current and past trends including areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses and other key performance indicators. Recommend resulting implications and key actions.
Manage AR and AP activities and mitigate any risk
Provide month-end variance reporting and streamline forecast/budget models
Drive and implement process improvement and analytical ideas for the organization to improve profitability
Work with IT and Business Intelligence teams to develop management reporting and analytical tools for business control as well as improve efficiency in all aspects of the commercial business
Liaise with Bankers on any banking matters
Manage finance and Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable team within the function
Guide and develop staff in their individual growth and refinement of critical thinking and communication
Any other assigend duties
3. Required Experience
At least a Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent
At least 8+ years' of Finance/Accouting work experience with proven track record
Experience with working and reporting to Global Headquarters
Candidates who demonstrate strong entrepreneurial track-record with relevant experience would be considered favorably
SAP Business 1 experience preferred
Worked in a Global Environment capacity
High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) including pivot tables and V-Lookup
Strong analytical skills
Commercial and business acumen
Excellent communication, attention to detail and leadership skills
Ability to successfully interact with all levels of staff with confidence and presence
Strong multi-tasking and time management skills
Ability to work in an empowered team environment, including the ability to effectively communicate, share information, resolve issues, and give and receive both positive and negative feedback in a respectful and professional manner
