Tech Implementation Project Manager, Hospitality Systems, 60% Travel

Our client provides enterprise organizations with proprietary hospitality industry technology solutions. The team needs a Technical Project Manager to ensure the accurate scheduling, deployment and successful execution of technology infrastructure projects often occurring simultaneously.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage infrastructure planning, strategy and delivery of projects as the intermediary between hospitality customers, restaurant owners and highly technical delivery teams along with Accounting, Professional Services, and Account Management.
  • Develop project milestones, goals and objectives in addition to plans and time management in coordination with project resources and customers.
  • Document processes and procedures and make available to project owners and implementation teams. Manage project scheduling, conflicts and resource, and budget allocation.
  • Train customers on best practices when it comes to organizational solutions, provide options based on client needs.
  • Travel to client sites 60% of the time to national hospitality client sites.
  • Drive improvements with internal teams and departmental resources

  • Requirements:
  • 60% National Travel
  • 5+ years of experience in a Project Management capacity in the Tech industry
  • Relevant client industry experience as a Project Manager particularly in Hospitality, Restaurants and Hotel Management, etc.
  • Experience managing the development, implementation, and support of hospitality technology solutions including but not limited to the following: POS ("Point-Of-Sales") installation, implementation, etc. Ex: ("Infogenesis"), LMS ("Lodging Management Systems"), Property Management Systems ("PMS"), Payment Systems, Activity Schedulers, Procurement Systems, Marketing Loyalty/Analytics Solutions, etc, Inventory/Property Management.)
  • TPM tools including MS Project, NetSuite, Confluence.

  • Desired:
  • PMI, PMP Certification is a plus
  • Hospitality Industry relevant background with a proven track record of successful implementation of industry-specific systems.
