Vaco Tampa is hiring! This is a direct hire role, all work must be completed on-site.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the development, integration, and automation of account management within Azure/Windows Active directory, UltiPro, security systems, and other associated products
  • Cooperatively works with product and application owners, demonstrating a continually increasing capability to integrate and automate processes to reduce repetitive tasks
  • Collaborates with Technology teams to continuously manage efficiencies by means of automating processes utilizing proper industry tools such as backend web APIs, PowerShell, and associated utilities
  • Continually review and recommend improvements to operational processes and procedures utilizing automation
  • Works with IT Engineering, IT Security, and Account Management to develop automation for common issues and tasks
  • Oversees the Service Center ticketing system with regards to modifications and enhancements to all ticket types and related workflows
  • Maintains and enhances alerting systems including Logic Monitor, OpsGenie, New Relic, Dotcom Monitor, and other related products
  • Ability to demonstrate troubleshooting skills systemically, documentation of issues and working problems proactively out of the environment
  • Provides technical leadership, hands-on implementation skills, and extensive troubleshooting skills for complex automation processes for day to day IT operations and account management
  • Creates and enhances automation scripts utilizing Azure automation in conjunction with common scripting languages to automate repetitive processes
  • Effectively communicates with both technical and non-technical staff as appropriate.
  • Efficient in quickly accessing and appropriately escalating technical concerns to appropriate groups
  • Ensure migrated workloads maintain compliance with Security and Governance standards
  • Participates in disaster recovery/business continuity activities as needed
  • Weighs business needs against other concerns and articulates issues to management
  • Serves as a liaison or technical resource for others in IT or to partners within other business units
  • Develops and documents configurations, workflows, processes, and FAQs for integration and automation processes
  • Demonstrate excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task, prioritize, and with a high expectation of attention to detail
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management
  • Creates, maintains, and enhances workflow automations within Ivanti Service Center ticketing system
  • Utilizes Scripts, APIs, SNMP, and SMTP to integrate alerting systems including Logic Monitor, OpsGenie, New Relic, Dotcom Monitor, and other related products
  • Utilizes SQL Query language, PowerShell, XML, NodeJS, JavaScript, JSON, and APIs to extract data from required sources including IIS webservers, Apache, Active Directory, FTP, and file storage
  • Configures automated scripting tasks through Cron Jobs, Windows Task manager, and Azure Automation
  • Configures webservers including Apache and IIS utilized in automation tasks
  • Utilizes VSTS and Git for Source control and versioning

Support Institutional Initiatives:
  • Keep current on institutional goals, objectives, and progress
  • Engage in institutional sponsored activities and initiatives as appropriate
  • Lead with courage in support of change initiatives that impact organization
  • Effectively communicates compliance requirements to students and other staff as appropriate and quickly escalates any compliance concerns to the Compliance department.

Work Experience, Skills & Abilities:

Minimum Requirements:
  • Undergraduate degree with a business or technology focus and/or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years' working with Directory Service technologies including Windows, Linux, and Active Directory
  • 3+ years' working with Azure Active Directory account management
  • 3+ years' implementing and designing Group Policy Objects
  • 3+ years' experience in an IT automation role
  • 3+ Years' experience with enterprise ITSM or ticketing system
  • 3+ years' experience working across various functional groups such as HR, IT, Sales, Finance, etc.
  • 3+ years' experience utilizing PowerShell to administering Microsoft Office 365.
  • 3+ years' experience in designing workflows and diagrams utilizing Visio or similar technologies for business processes and technical architectures
  • 3+ years' Automating process utilizing scripts including PowerShell, Unix CLI, Python, Bash, .Net, PHP, NodeJS, JavaScript, and other programing languages
  • 3+ years' experience utilizing SQL query language
  • 3+ years' creating, configuring, and maintaining automation tasks utilizing Windows Task Manager, Cron Jobs, and Azure automation
  • Strong understanding of API usage and integrations
  • Strong understanding of enterprise systems, application integration and the ability to quickly learn new software solutions
  • Strong team player with proven communication, organizational, and strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational skills, and oral and written communication skills
  • High attention to detail and judgment skills
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision, making decisions based upon priorities, schedules and an understanding of business initiatives
  • Ability to participate in a rotational and compensable 24/7 on call responsibility

Preferred Requirements:
  • 3+ years' experience with Enterprise ITIL Processes
  • 3+ years' configuring and maintaining IIS and Apaches webservers
  • 2+ years' designing and implementing Identity and Access Management platforms like Microsoft Identity Manager
  • 2+ years managing Ivanti Service Center
  • 2+ Experience with DevOps related source control tools including GIT or VSTS
  • 2+ Experience with application configuration management tools including Chef, Puppet, or Ansible
  • 2+ years' experience with Lean, Agile, and Scrum methodologies
