The Procurement Manager will support the finance team and will take ownership of developing and administering all procurement-related activities. Core responsibilities will include strategizing to find cost-effective deals and suppliers, with an eye on discovering the best ways to cut procurement expenses so that the organization can efficiently invest in growth and people.

This role will manage the Accounts Payable function for the operations team.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Accounts Payable function, a team of three
  • Implement controls and processes for the accounts payable function
  • Identify and capture profit improvement opportunities beyond sourcing, such as demand management, process improvements, in-source vs. outsource innovation, etc.
  • Develops and implements appropriate negotiation strategies to ensure best pricing is achieved
  • Analyzes corporate spend data by vendor, by item and recommend and implement practices and procedures to improve service and reduce cost.
  • Develop annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, spend analysis, and other metrics

  • Position Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or business, MBA a plus.
    • Minimum of 5 years of progressively increasing responsibility in finance or accounting
    • Excellent presentation and communication skills
    • Ability to manage large projects within pre-defined deadlines.
    • Very strong interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others.
    • Continuous improvement, data-driven mindset with proven ability to improve and standardize processes.
