Job Description

Vaco Indianapolis has partnered with a company on the West side of Indianapolis to find a Project Manager!

The Project Manager is responsible for the overall planning, control, and status reporting against innovation, cost savings, continuous improvement and other projects to ensure that project goals and objectives are met within the agreed upon time, scope, budget and resource requirements.

Responsibilities Include the Following:
* Execute the Product Life Cycle (PLC)/ Stage Gate process
* Provide cross functional leadership in order to launch new products on time with the right specifications
* Lead weekly cross-functional team calls as well as monthly steering committee meetings
* Manage the documentation process to ensure the PLC checklist and approvals are managed, ensuring proper product compliance
* Work with 3rd party customers/suppliers to develop joint project plans, timelines, and coordinate activities to ensure project deliverables are met.
* General project management assigned as projects arise
* Manage Continuous Improvement projects and / or other key initiative projects as they arise across the organization
* Organizational leadership for Performance Management, aligning functions on key templates and metrics
* Develop and publish relevant scorecard(s) on an agreed upon cadence
* Publish actions and meeting minutes to ensure proper follow-up by key stakeholders in order to keep projects on task

Requirements Include the Following:
* Bachelor's degree and 3 to 5+ years of project management experience
* Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required
* Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time

Other Requirements:
Must be familiar with standard PM tools and templates. Strong MS Office suite skills;

Can demonstrate expertise with MS Project and managing complex timelines; exposure
to cloud based PPMO systems.
