As the Project Accountant, you will work with the Controller in making cost projections for each project and assist in many other financial aspects of a project. The Project Accountant will also assist in various corporate accounting functions such as payables and receivables. The ideal candidate displays initiative and critical thinking skills and has the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Process customer invoices for billing and review purchase orders to ensure accurate inventory count and shipment; process vendor invoices to ensure appropriate materials are received
  • Calculate sales and use tax for appropriate invoices
  • Assist in the management of the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable function while ensuring accurate General Ledger records
  • Set up recurring General Ledger entries
  • Assist in reporting for daily cash, sales, inventory, and production
  • Assist with the preparation of journal entries, bank reconciliations, and month-end closing procedures
  • Serve as an accounting liaison between operations and other staff
  • Participate in the development of financial analysis and ad hoc reporting


  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
  • 1-3 years general ledger accounting experience, inventory and cost accounting is preferred
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP
  • Advanced Excel skills and ability to learn new technologies
  • Superb communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to comprehend instructions and work independently as well as on a team
