Job Description

Responsibilities:

* Work as part of an Agile scrum team, focusing on testing Web applications and API

* Review the Functional Specifications, Technical Specifications, wireframes, workflows and UML diagrams and design

* Design and implement acceptance criteria, test cases, and test plans for new and existing features

* Perform functional, regression, smoke, performance and exploratory testing on all new and existing features

* Report discovered issues with a clear detailed description

* Send daily and weekly reports with progress, risk assessment and QA confidence rate

* Participate in sprint planning, retrospective and design meetings

* Provide time estimates to the team and assist in project scheduling

* Communicate with other QA's and developers using video conferencing, instant messaging, and other collaboration tools

Qualifications:

* 3+ years of hands-on experience as a quality assurance engineer

* Work in agile/scrum environment with daily standups

* Experience in manual, exploratory, functional, smoke, performance and regression testing

* Perform browser compatibility testing (Chrome, Safari, Firefox and IE)

* Experienced in troubleshooting and triaging issues

* Experience in API testing using SOAP UI and Postman or similar tools is a plus

* Create, execute and maintain test cases

* Log and track bugs (knowing VSTS now called Azure DevOps is a plus)

* Experience in SQL

* Experience in automation is a plus

* Great verbal and written communication skills, be able to interact with designers, developers, QA team members to clarify specifications, identify and resolve various issues.
