A services organization is looking for an SEC Reporting Director to join their team. The SEC Reporting Director will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the financial reporting process in addition to developing a Manager. What do you need for this SEC Reporting Director role?

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
  • Public accounting experience
  • Active CPA ideal
  • 10+ years of SEC reporting experience
  • Must have supervisory experience
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and technical accounting standards
  • Advanced Excel

What will you do in this SEC Reporting Director role?

  • Prepare 10Q, 10K, 8K, and earnings releases
  • Review documents for disclosures
  • Keep abreast on new accounting rules, regulations, and standards
  • XBRL tagging
  • Assist with financial reporting aspect of external audit
  • Technical accounting research
  • Create new policies and procedures as needed
  • Assist with month-end close and review financial statements
  • Act as liaison with external auditors and and other internal departments
  • Support new SOX documentation and implementation
