A South Bay consumer goods company is currently in search of a dedicated Senior Accountant to support the Controller in leading the corporate accounting department. The ideal Senior Accountant will have strong knowledge of GAAP and would be a shoo-in if they had experience working in a fast-growing environment.

What you need for this Senior Accountant role:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance
• Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting
• NetSuite experience preferred
• Manufacturing/Inventory/Consumer Goods accounting industry experience preferred
• Excellent communication, organization, and analytical skills
• The ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

What you will be doing in this Senior Accountant role - You will:

• Perform GL & Transactional accounting functions
• Support annual budget preparation, gross profit analysis, and respective quarterly forecasts
• Performs monthly reconciliations on various ledger accounts
• Participates in month-end and year-end closing activities
• Help establish internal controls
• Make recommendations to executive leadership on methods to improve and sustain profitability
