Job Description
Senior Accountants open to consulting! We have just the role for you! Our client has an immediate opportunity for a Senior Accountant for 3-4 months to be onsite for 5 days a week in Greensboro, NC. As a Senior Accountant your typical day may involve:
- Performing assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual general ledger closing processes
- Assisting in the development of financial statements and reports
- Reviewing and explaining variances to budget/forecast and to previous reporting periods on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
- Preparing journal entries and monthly account reconciliations
- Working closely with other functional areas and business management to resolve issues and support achievement of business goals
- Must have experience in performing clean-up of accounts and helping to reconcile complex accounts.
- Audit and Manufacturing experience is preferred but not required!

• Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance
• 4-5+ years of experience
• Manufacturing and auditing experience preferred
• Experience with Larger ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics, Great Plains, SAP, etc)
• Has worked in helping clean up messy accounting functions.
• Proficient in business related software: Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, etc.
