Job Description

A rapidly growing media company located near Downtown Los Angeles is looking for a driven and entrepreneurial Senior Accountant to join their growing team. The role requires 3-5 years of experience, a CPAm and a minimum of 2 years at a Big 10 public accounting firm with exposure to Netsuite or a large accounting ERP system. Experience working within entertainment or media is a huge plus. Must have had hands on experience managing full cycle accounting and payroll.

Covid response:

This role requires someone who can eventually work out of the Los Angeles office but is allowing their staff to work from home until Jan 2021. There may also be flexibility to work from home a few days a week as needed in the future.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Full cycle accounting (AP, AR, Bank reconciliations, inventory, payroll and financial statements)
  • Month end journals
  • Prepare detailed reconciliations
  • Monthly and quarterly close
  • Oversee bi-weekly payroll
  • Financial reporting for 120 emplyees+
  • Software: Just did an implementation from QuickBooks to Oracle -Netsuite
